The yearbook started with a lot more people this year than we had last year. The energy of the students was incredible. After seeing the 1999 - 2000 yearbook, the yearbook staff praised their work, but immediately began making plans for an even better yearbook for the next school year.

The yearbook staff wants next year's yearbook to have the ability to compete with top yearbooks across the country. This year's yearbook includes new features such as quote boxes, surveys, the Senior Section, and an exciting new theme, "Northside's Greatest Hits".

Putting together the yearbook is a tremendous effort. It takes dedication and much time. The staff spends two days afterschool and sometimes during lunch period to work on the yearbook. They hope that in the near future, yearbook will become a class or a colloquium where the students will get credited for their pain, sweat, and tears.
