The Math and Science Cross Curricular Studies event, which occurs on May 10, 2000, deals with promoting education of the environment to the students in the field of rivers, as the week during May 10 is River Week. The City of Chicago and the Department of Environment are some of the major supporters of this event. Students will participate in field trips on the Chicago River, river walks, and other various locations and also take part in in-class assignments.
