Sponsored By: Peter O' Neil, Math Department
Students will use theatre games and exercises to develop skills as improvisational actors and performance critics. Beginning with pantomime, students will perfrom a piece to the class at every session, moving sequentially throughout the weeks to more advanced/developed scenes. In the end, the class will have a performance ready of the individual scenes created throughout the semester. Students will also be required to conduct research on an aspect of theater and produce a report or web page or visual display of their findings. A videotaped performance will become part of student portfolios.
