Welcome to Adventure Challenge

-Mission Statement -

This workshop is designed for students to develop teaching skills and ultimately to become better learners. Adventure Challenge is going to allow students to develop communication, trust, and problem solving skills. This workshop will also challenge students to break off from their comfort zone and develop an awareness of individual and group differences. Expectations: Students are expected to be on time, prepared, and observe rule #1: Don't hurt anyone on the inside and don't hurt anyone on the outside.

The adventure challenge colloquium is basically focused on teamwork, trust, and creativity. The groups come together to play games made by their fellow students. These games build trust for the other students and promote problem-solving skills. Another important part of this colloquium is the wall climb. Each group has to climb the recently installed wall climbing course. It also incorporates trust and teamwork as you can see from the picures. After doing activities like these, the groups go on a few field trips to the Labagh Woods. After those field trips, the students have to teach an elementary school class. Their experience will make doing this a simple activity. Then, there will be some pool related activities, and hopefully, some kayaking. Good luck!
